The First Homes scheme

This government-backed initiative gives first-time buyers a 30% discount on selected Vivly properties* — helping you own a high-quality home at a more affordable price. The discount remains with the home for future sales, so others can benefit too.
You’re eligible for First Homes if you:
Are a first-time buyer aged 18 or over (all buyers must be first-time buyers).
Have a household income of £80,000 or less.

Live or work in Kirklees, Wakefield or Barnsley, or have a local connection.

Are a current or recent member of the Armed Forces (within the last 5 years) – no local connection needed.

Can provide a deposit of at least 5% of the discounted price.

Can secure a mortgage for at least 50% of the purchase.

Will live in the property as your only home - it cannot be rented out.
